RDF Refuse Derived Fuel
Refuse Derived Fuel (RDF) sorted from municipal solid waste (MSW) with the non-combustable fraction removed. Also known as solid recovered fuel/ specified recovered fuel (SRF)
BLF (No.1 Bulk Light Fraction)
No.1 BLF (Bulk Light Fraction) shall consist of any assorted light fraction materials recovered by shredding mixed municipal or commercial/industrial wastes to minus 2 inches in size and collected as light fraction materials from an air separation or cyclone system.
TDF Tire Derived Fuel
TDF or Tire Derived Fuel shal consist of scrap tires that have been reduced in size to minus 1 inch and free flowing.
ASR Auto Shredder Residue
Auto Shredder Residue shall consist of the residual fraction of shredder residue after primary magnetic serperation to remove large iron attachments and secondary serperation (such as eddy curremt) to remove the bulk of non-ferrous metals and may contain fibrous textiles, polyurethane foams, assorted plastics, rubber, and a wide variety of residual metals content. This material may be saturated with oils and engine coolants and miscellaneous dirt and stone.
HBHW High BTU HydroCarbon Waste
High BTU HydroCarbon Waste shall consist of assorted waste materials that consist of combustible or digestable hydrocarbon materials such as mixed unsortable plastic waste
CCP Compressed Carpet Pellets
Compressed Carpet Pellets consist of waste carpet that has been densified or compressed into free flowing pellets. The pellets may be used for further fiber recovery or as an energy from waste fuel.
UMO Used Motor Oil
Used Motor Oil shall consist of a mixture of recovered automobile fluids including: motor oil, transmission fluid and brake fluids.
HWF Hogged Wood Fuel
Hogged Wood Fuel consists of a mix of ground wood residues, sawdust, shavings, bark or solid wood offcuts or pieces that have been produced by grinding in a wood hog.
BDF Biosolids Derived Fuel
Biosolids Derived Fuel (BDF) consist of cake, powdered or pelletize organic materials collected from dried organic sludges
UVO Used Vegetable Oil
UVO Used Vegetable Oils and Old Cooking Greases are typically collected from restaurants or commercial kitchens.
Waste Cellulose materials shall include organic plant matter derived from leaf, stem, flowers and plant pieces.
